Suns blew out Slinger Varsity 16-3 on Monday at Slinger High School after pouring on 10 runs in the fifth inning. Tate Rose racked up five RBIs on four hits for Suns. He doubled in the fifth inning, tripled in the fifth inning, and singled in the third and sixth innings. Matt Schubert recorded the win for Suns. He allowed two runs over four innings. Schubert struck out one, walked one and gave up six hits. In the top of the first, Suns grabbed the early lead, 1-0. Suns built upon its lead with four runs in the sixth. Paul Kaufmann kicked things off with a single, scoring Nick Reimer. |
