Notes:
In the Shootout finale, the Renegades prevailed over GGBL rival Mill Creek 6-5, in a dramatic midnight win in their last at bat. Ryan drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning with a shot to left center, scoring Lucas from second to end the game and send the tired fans home happy. Lucas opened the seventh with a single through the hole, and stole second base to be in position for Ryan’s hit. Clint had three hits in the game, and Zach had two and three RBI. Austin S, Austin L and Nick also added singles. The Renegades got strong pitching from Lucas, Clint and Steven. Lucas opened and went three innings, getting 6 Ks along the way. Clint went three more innings notching 3 Ks, while Steven got the win in the final inning, striking out the side. |
