Game Notes: Tough Game tonight. We ran into a hard hitting Notre Dame team. We could only muster 1 run in the first. Notre Dame came out blazing and put 4 on the board. Both teams were scoreless in the 2nd. We came out swinging in the 3rd and tied the score at 4 with big hits from Alex, Will, Branan, Brandon, Dawson and Jonah. Brandon got thrown out stretching a single into a double for the 2nd out of the inning. Dawson got thrown out at the plate on a good play with the first baseman covering home. They both did exactly what they were supposed to and listened to the coaches who sent them! In the bottom half, Notre Dame hit the ball in good spots and put 3 on the board to take a 7-4 lead. We got the first 2 batters on in the top of the 4th with hits from Griffin and Jalen, but we couldn't push any runs across the plate and the game ended with a 7-4 loss.

We played another good defensive game. Jonah threw out 2 batters at first from SS. Dawson played a great game at first and caught everything in site. He looked 100% better at first tonight. Branan made a good play in the outfield and threw to Jonah who threw to Jalen at 3rd. Unfortunately, the runner slid under the tag, but it was a great play on everyone's part. David, Griffin, Brandon, Anthony, Calvin, and Will all had great throws from the outfield to hold runners to long singles. Mitch did a great job behind the plate as usual.

Branan, Brandon, Alex, and Will were perfect at the plate tonight. Great job guys. We win some, we lose some...we all had fun. Get ready for next weekend and a tough GA Tech team.
