| Game Notes: Plato playing again with only 9 guys came out with the win. A lazy "9" showed up on Sat, many playing new positions, but still found a way to put a 10 spot up. Whitey "fish" Sanken got his 1st Bluejay playing time as he started in right field and was 1-3 on the day. It looked like it could be a tough day when Johnson lead off the game by striking out swinging at a pitch that hit him in the ribs (LOL). But next up a laughing Smothers double and scored on a over throw. Plato would put up 6 runs in the 4th to take a 9-0 lead and coasted from there to a 10-5 win. Smothers started on the hill and went 7 inns (128 pitches), ODE finished the final 2 inns for his 2nd save of the year. Almost all starters collected at least 1 hit.Boothy who stayed up all night after slug N Chug caught all 9 inns. | ||||||||||||
