| Game Notes: Verona started out with a bang Tuesday night with a lead off home run by Leslie Banzhaf to right center. Memorial added four runs throughout the next innings. After losing some intensity the Cats answered back scoring two runs to tie in back up in the seventh on a line drive home run by Jillian Bauer. Then in the ninth Verona scored two runs and the Spartans couldn't answer in the bottom of the inning. Pitcher Emma Ray had a solid performance racking up 10 strikeouts. | ||||||||||
