| Game Notes: In the second game of Pool Play, AC lost to the East County Indians 5-4, when a 3-2 knuckleball pitch got away with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th, scoring the winning run from 3rd base. AC jumped out to a 2-0 lead as Atkins and Wegdahl scored. However, the Indians tallied 3 in the 4th inning to take the lead. It didn't last long, as Beck and Michael Bartel led off the 5th with back to back singles, and scored later, as AC regained the advantage. In the bottom of the 5th, the Indians tied it with an unearned run, setting the stage for the dramatic finish. | ||||||||||
