Notes:
Spika & Anderson (4) Eastview beat Prior Lake in a forfeit game 7-0. Game was forfeit in the top of the 7th with Eastview trailing 6-4. Eastview had great relief pitching by Lucas Anderson (5 K, 0 R) earning his first win on the season. The offense had only 5 hits but had a patient eye at the dish, earning 8 walks. The Lightning finally receive a much needed day off before traveling to Owatonna for their second road game of the season and Owatonna's season opener. Owatonna won the region last summer, but with new team's assembled each year, every season is different than the last one. Tyler Brodeur is expected to take the ball for the Lightning as they try and move to a very respectable 5-2 in league play on the sesaon. Anderson (W, 1-0) |
