Brodeur, Kelley (1), Metz (2), Voss (3), & Groskreutz (4) The Lightning lost to New Prague 20-4, falling to 4-4 in league play and 6-6 on the season. Eastview started the season 5-2 overall and have since dropped 4 out of their last 5 games. They have given up 32 runs in their past two games by giving up 15 errors in those two contests. If the Lightning are to pick things up, it will have to start with taking care of the baseball and backing the pitchers up. The Eastview staff pitched well against a large New Prague team. It didn't help that because of the defense the Lightning had 93 pitches through two innings of play. Eastview comes back to face a gritty Faribault squad who won their only league game of the season 9-4 over Lakeville North. Eastview sends Lucas Anderson (1-0, 3.00) to the mound in hopes of righting the ship. Game time is set for 6:15pm at Eastview's home field at JCRP #7. Brodeur (L, 1-3) |
