Game
Notes:
Higgins & Edsten (4)
The Lightning lost their second game of the Shakopee Tournament to Elk River 13-8. Halfway through the game, Eastview was up 8-1 but gave Elk River 12 straight unanswered runs. The Lightning were hurt by giving up 7 walks and 2 errors on D leading to only 6 of the runs being earned. Higgins (7 H, 3 K, 5 ER) pitched great until the 4th inning, when he led off with a walk, which started their rally. The offense was led by Schul & Devine; each with 2 hits and a run scored. The Lighning play Woodbury White in the final game of pool play. They will send Christian (0-3, 8.40) to the bump, looking for his first W.
