Voss, Groskreutz (5) & Granat (7) Eastview lost the 3rd place game against Altoona by a score of 12-4. It was a 4-3 game until Altoona broke it open with 4 runs in the 5th and 4 more in the 7th. Eastview committed 4 more errors, resulting in only 5 runs being earned on defense. The Lightning staff only walked 3 hitters for the game but the defense killed them and Altoona had 14 hits. Eastview almost matched them with 12 hits of their own. There were 17 bases stolen during the game, with 6 coming from the hometown team (and 3 from Granat). Eastview comes back right away tomorrow with a big league game against Northfield. The Raiders defeated the Lightning 5-4 after coming from behind in the 7th to score 4 runs and win the game.
