| Game Notes: We had a patient eye at the plate today and took some lumps also, scoring 5 runs in the first without a hit or an error. Sterling gets hit 4 times and the team as a whole gets beaned 11 times. Vanya pitched fantastic today as he faced a very good team and shut them down. Mike Garza hits a 3-run homer into the wind that just nips the foul pole. | ||||||||||
