Eastview defeated Bloomington 5-2 behind some strong pitching by Ferber (7 K, 1 ER) who went into the 7th inning and scattered only 3 hits and gave up 2 runs. Smith & Perlenfein came into a jam in the 7th and each got an out to end the game. On offense, Kyllo (RBI, BB), Grimm & Smith (RS, RBI, SB) each got on base twice. The Lightning come back with another road game under the lights against St Anthony, who hasn't won a league game since the season opener against Eastview. Jack Buck (2-2, 3.10) will take the ball as he tries to continue his streak on the mound (in his last 23 innings, he's given up 5 earned runs).
