Oakville, ON - The BC champion Whallley Chiefs from Surrey, BC won their first game of the 2008 Canadian Senior Little League Championship dominating Prairies champion Community Park Reds from Edmonton 10-0 in five innings. The Whalley pitching tandem of Chris Fischer and Nick Rohla kept the Community Park team off balance at the plate, allowing only two hits while striking out ten, nine by Fischer in 4 innings of work. |
