Game
Notes:
Ferber, Furnstahl (6) & Perlenfein (7)
Eastview (18-10-1) defeated Burnsville White 8-7, completing their sweep of the Blaze on the season. Eastview got out to a 6-0 lead through four but seemed content with that lead and let Burnsville battle back to get the tying run to the plate in the 7th. Perlenfein (RS) led off the inning with a single and stole a base and scored on a double play. In the second, Ferber (RS, RBI) worked a 1-out walk, went to second on an error, third on a walk, and Perlenfein hit him in with a sac fly. In the third with two guys on base and a 2-0 lead, Frojd roped a triple to right field and Ferber hit him in with an RBI groundout on the next pitch. Buck hit a two-out double to score a run in the 4th to make it 6-0. After Burnsville made it 6-4, Burnsville helped give the Eastview two unearned runs on only one hit to extend it to 8-4. Perlenfein came in to an 8-4 game with two guys on base and nobody out in the 7th and closed the door for his team-leading 5th save on the season. With the win, Ferber moved to 3-0 on the season. The Lightning have a shot at putting pressure on Prior Lake for 2nd place by defeating them again for the third time and completing the sweep. Jack Buck (2-2, 3.26) will be taking the mound. Game time is set for 8pm.
