| Game Notes: Getting a runner picked off third moments before Tom Hoffman laced a run scoring single that would have scored two, was a snapshot of the Popes season as they found yet another way to lose, dropping the second of 2 to Arrowhead 3-2 to run their latest losing streak to 3. Starter and loser Jim Foy had his third consecutive outstanding start, but the offense mustered just 6 hits to lead to the loss.
