APPLE VALLEY -- Eastview (24-14-2) defeated Minnetonka by a score of 1-0 to complete pool play undefeated and advancing to the quarterfinals for Gopher State. Eastview jumped on the board early with two walks and a 2-out RBI single by McLean to score Wilson, the game's lone run. It was all Dickson needed as he shut out Minnetonka, allowing only 2 hits (one on a bunt) and walking only 1. The Lightning advance to face rivals Apple Valley in tomorrow morning's quarterfinal game. Alex Bangh is scheduled to get the start against the Eagles. The game will be played back in Andover as tonight's game was a re-scheduled game both coaches agreed upon playing Saturday night instead of Sunday morning.
