Notes:
The Renegades cap off their championship with an 18-0 victory. Lucas, Steven, Brian, and Clint combine for 3 innings of one-hit baseball, with 7 Ks and ony 1 BB. Clint had two hits, including the only HR of the game, and Steven and Parker also with two hits. Austin, Michael, Lucas, Drew, and Nick also with hits. Nick had a "grand slam" bunt, beating out a bases loaded bunt and then advancing all the way around to score on the ensuing throwing error. There's no truth to the rumor that he lapped Steven and Parker. Patrick and Brian also scored two runs each. |
