The Jays openned the Spokane Fourth of July Wood Bat Tournament with their second win of the year over the Kalispell Lakers. Throughout the entire game the Jays held the lead, getting runs across in the first, second, fourth and fifth innings. The final score was 5-0. Offensively, the Jays were led by Connor Jones and Luke Stone.
Five runs provided plenty of breathing room for Matt McAuley and Matt Larmour. The two combined to two-hit the Lakers. Larmour picked up the win to improve his record on the season to 3-2. The Jays improve to 19-10.
