In the first game of the day the Jays scored in every inning but the first to put away the Boise Barons in five innings. The game was shortened because of the eight run mercy rule. Offensively, Layne Stopanski led the charge with three hits and three RBI's. Cam Strachan went the distance on the mound to pick up his fourth win of the season. Strachan struck out four and walk none, and allowed only three hits in five innings. The Jays improve to 20-12 overall and are 2-1 in the Spokane Tournament.
