The Jays committed five errors, allowing six unearned runs to score, in the loss to the Chugiak Mustangs. After six and a half innings of baseball, the Jays held onto a 5-1 lead. However, the Mustangs scored five runs on two Jays errors to claim the victory. Brad McLeod picks up the loss for the Jays, dropping his record to 3-2.
Kellen Jones pitched six innings, allowing three hits, no earned runs and six strikeouts. The loss drops the Jays record to 21-12 and they finish the Spokane Tournament at 3-2.
