The Jays scored two runs against the Cardinals in the first inning of the game. Luke Stone's triple drove in Kellen Jones, and later Stone scored off a single by Matt Larmour. However, the Jays would remain scoreless for the rest of the game. Two runs would be all Cam Strachan would need. Strachan picked up his first career Legion baseball win, pitching four complete innings. Strachan allowed four hits, while walking three and striking out two. Matt Larmour provided shut-out relief before handing the ball over to Kellen Jones who picked up his second save in as many games. The Jays improve to 2-0.
