In a game that was called after six innings because of the two hour time limit, the Jays came out hot with the bats in the first three innings of the game. The Jays collected 10 runs in the first three innings, and didn't pick up the final two until the sixth inning. On the mound, Matt McAuley pitched three complete innings, allowing two runs on four hits to pick up his first win of the season. Brad McLeod followed McAuley pitching 2 2/3 innings of relief. The game got interesting late, as the Jays 10-2 lead through most of the game got shattered. Sherwood Park scored six runs in the final two innings to cut the lead to 12-8. However, time was on the Jays side. At the end of the sixth the game was called because of time. The Jays improve to 3-0.
