| Game Notes: For the first scrimmage and first competion outside ourselves, we played fairly well. Our pitching was strong out of the gate. Whitaker and Simmons did well. The younger arms still need to develop and be able to get guys out on the varsity level. We have a lot to work on and learned a lot during the scrimmage. Overall, it was a good barometer of where we are and need to be. We will continue to work hard and improve everyday out.The Western Valley will be very strong this year. Most teams return the heart of their team. | ||||||||||
