Notes:
The Renegades lose their GGBL opener to the Comets 11-7. Once again, errors undid the Renegades as only 2 of the 11 Comet runs were earned, the benefit of 7 Renegade errors. The Comets are too good of a team to give them an extra out an inning. Brian, Ryan, and Clint combined to limit the Comets to 6 hits. Patrick added a stellar fielding play, diving to catch a hooking ball down the right field line to end an inning. Ryan had two singles, and Austin L and Lucas had two hits (one 2B each), while Michael added a 2B. Nick had an exciting triple down the 1B line, and Clint and Brian added singles. Back the the practice field as the Renegades prepare for their next game. |
