Notes:
The Renegades go into the Eagles’ Nest and hand Collins Hill their first GGBL loss 10-3. Clint started and went three innings of one-hit baseball, followed by Austin L closing the game with two innings of solid, one run pitching. Both ‘Gade hurlers benefited from an error-free defense. Lucas and Clint both had a single and double each, and Austin S added two singles and 3 RBIs. Drew had ANOTHER triple, with Parker, Patrick, Brian, Steven, Michael, and Austin L all adding singles. The Renegades executed two consecutive successful suicide squeeze plays in the fourth{by Patrick and Parker), where they broke open the game.. Nick tried a third in a row but was hit by the pitch. Kudos to Eagles leadoff hitter Tyler K- scoring all three of the Eagle runs, hitting a double, drawing two walks, and swiping 2 stolen bases against some very good catchers. Next to Nick, probably the best leadoff hitter in the GGBL. |
