Eastview and Osseo played to a 5-inning tie to end pool play in the Rochester Tournament. For the first time all tournament, Eastview did not outhit their opponents as they only got 3 hits on the night. However, Eastview pitched well and played flawless defense. Henry (2 ER, 4 K) made his second appearance on the year, first as a starter. He walked 5 and beaned 1, which made Osseo strand many baserunners on the evening. Leading the offense was Woods (2 rbi), Melzarek (2B, R) & Allen (1B, SB, RBI). Eastview takes a few days off before facing Prior Lake Tuesday night in league play.
