The Lightning took out the Raiders from Northfield by a score of 10-0 in only six innings. They had clutch bats at the plate as they had 8 hits and had 9 rbi. They also stole 4 bases and had a nice eye at the dish with 4 walks. Their offense was led by Allen (2 rbi), Dickson (2 sb) and Jonas (2 sb); all of which had multiple hits. The man on the mound was Garrett Runing, who made his first appearance on the year and tossed a 71 pitch shutout. He was helped by his defense which played flawless defense and Shane Henry threw out two runners on the bases. It was a total team effort as Eastview got their first league win of the season. They come back right away tomorrow night and face league leading Burnsville as they look to get revenge from a tough 8-inning loss last week.
