The Toronto Lady Elite 1 will return for a second season in the WBCBL,
and they are looking to build on the success that they experienced in
 their inaugural season.
The team will welcome back some old faces this season, including
standouts Stephany Skrba and sisters Tamara and Alisha Tatham. Both
sisters have played for the Senior National Team, and their experience
and leadership abilities will be vital towards the teams success this
 year.
But the coaching staff, which includes Seneca College men’s head coach
Wayne Dawkins, will welcome some fresh faces into the mix this year as
they vie for the WBCBL crown.
Hali Burns, a former OCAA Player of the Year, will join the team this
year and should provide depth at the point guard position. Sharp shooter
Heather Alonzo from the Seneca Sting will also be on the team this year,
and her familiarity with Seneca will surely be an advantage as the Lady
Elite 1’s will play their home games in their gym.
Norman Hamilton, afirst-year coach and graduated student-athlete from Seneca,
will join Dawkins on the bench for the ladies this  season. Lisa Best will return for her second season as Team Director as
 well.
The team will play their six home games out of Seneca College, with five
 other games on the road.
