Hi everyone Coach Ron here. "WOW" what a great game last night. Let me tell you that your coaches were very proud of the effort everyone gave during the game. We had some good hits and even better fielding. I remember a couple of super pick ups and throws to get runners at first by both Chloe and Remy. Katie pitched great with 3 scoreless innings but a lot of that success was due to all the great fielding around her. Stephanie also got in the action by getting tha bat on the ball and I could hear the parents from the green team shouting out great hit #2.  All in all just a real good game so WELL DONE TEAM.

Hi everyone Coach Ron here. Saw some good things out there last night. Some of the highlights were a big hit by Emily and on our other hits there was great hustle by everyone to first base. In the 3rd inning Remy pitched well and threw out a runner at the plate with Ashley making the tag. Just an excellent play by both players. The next inning we had 2 great plays first by Katie throwing out a runner at first from third and on the next pitch Ashley grabbed the grounder back to the mound and made a strong throw to first to also get the runner. What finished off those two plays were the backhand catchers by Bonnie at first. So as you can see there were many positives to come out of last nights game, so WELL DONE TEAM.

Hi everyone Coach Ron here. Good game last night. Looks like our bats have come alive just in time for the upcoming league playoffs. Our pitchers had a few strike outs and we also saw the pitching debut of Bailey. We also got an out at home and at third so well done TEAM.

Hi everyone Coach Ron here. That was a very good hitting game last night. Both our pitchers and their pitcher were putting the ball in the strike zone which allowed both teams to put on a pretty darn good hitting display. I remember some great hits by Bailey &  Brittney and Hayleigh continues to impress me with her desire to hit.  I thought everyone gave it their best at the plate last night so "GOOD JOB TEAM".

We have played a lot of games in a short time period and I know everyone was probably a little tired last night. It's the time in the season where you do play a lot more games/tournaments and it can be very tiring. With that in mind we are playing on Wednesday and then that's it until the weekend. No practice this Thursday.

Hi everyone Coach Ron here. Nice win last night. Both Coach Charles and I saw a lot of very good things at the ballpark last night. We continue to be aggresive on the base paths and we made better decisions when to run and no one was tagged out trying to steal a base. Our bats also came alive and there were some very good hits last night. Our pitchers are doing a great job and our defence will get better with a few good solid practices. Our team is really starting to round into form. Good job everyone.

Hi everyone Coach Ron here. Good game last night. It's hard to stay focused and get any rythym going if the other team struggles with pitching. I thought the whole team ran the bases well and it was excellent sportsmanship to help the other team out by lending them some of our players. It is too bad we can't get enough of our team together for a practice this weekend so unfortunately we have to cancel this Saturdays practice. Please put into your schedules a practice from now on every Saturday 10-12 at East Brookswood. Circumstances may change things but thats the plan for now. Try to get out this weekend and toss the ball to someone.

Hi everyone Coach Ron here. What a great game last night. That was our best effort of the year so far and both Coach Charles and I were really proud of each and every one of you. I love how we were swinging the bats and boy were we aggresive on the base paths. If we keep playing like that, add a little more defense and a few more hits we will be a hard team to beat by the end of the year.

Hi everyone Coach Charles here, great game last night. What a treat to come home to after a long flight from Chicago. Our player of the game is Bailey, for a great hit, excellent base running and a fantastic slide into home plate. Well done Bailey! Among other highlights from last nights game, Katie pitched well, our catchers were sharp and Ashlee and Chloe combined to make a great out at third base. Also, Hayleigh had a great hit which contributed to our run production. Good work team!

Hi everyone Coach Ron here. Well done last night. I saw a lot of good things out there and you made it hard for me to pick the player of the game. Like Coach Charles said there are many ways to be player of the game and it isn't always because you made a great play or had a big hit. Last night I heard a lot more cheering from the field and dugout which really adds to the game atmosphere. Everyone's attitude seemed really good last night and Gemma you were outstanding in your approach to last nights game. How about the pitching of Remy and the catching of Brittney, what a great tandem they were. Bailey ran the bases like a pro and was safe at home due to just a great slide. And how about Chloe getting her first big league slide in. Almost brought a tear to Coaches eye, until she told me my music selection still sucked. Bonnie was great in covering throws back to the pitcher and last weeks player of the game Taylor gave another solid effort.  Ashley had a sore shoulder but that didn't stop her from giving everything she had, while Emily looks like she is ready to start hitting the cover off the ball. Katie and Hayleigh also make a great tandem and Hayleigh is becoming a very good catcher. Like I said you all made it very tough for me to pick a player of the game. Last night in cold, windy and very tough conditions the turning point in the game was with the bases loaded in the first and 1 run already in and 2 batters already hit by a pitch , Katie dug deep and struck out the side. Outstanding Katie, so you are player of the game, well done.
