The Canadian Little League Conference was held March 24-25 in Calgary. There were several announcements made at the meetings that are of significance to the Canadian Championships being held this August in Edmonton. The following are some of the highlights of the meetings;

• The Toronto Blue Jays announced their partnership with Little League Canada. On hand to make the announcement were former Jays reliever Duane Ward and T.J. Burton, Jays Coordinator of Amateur Baseball and former Canadain National Team member. The Jays announced they will fund Little League baseball programs in Canada in the comiong months and years. 
• The draw for the upcoming Championships was held, and the formal schedule will be posted in the coming weeks and months.
