Harley Reece hit one of the most impressive home runs you will ever see and earned his first win of the season in a complete game (5 inning game) performance. Below are highlights:
*Reece hit an RBI double that appeared to have a chance to go out of the park in the top of the 2nd inning, before hitting a monster 2-run shot in the top of the 4th, for his third home run of the 2012 season and 2nd and 3rd RBI on the day.
*Daniel Helm is not a young man of many words, but his play has spoke volumes during the 2012 season. Helm collected two more hits and knocked in three more runs to raise his season batting average to .438 and give him 15 RBI on the year.
*Shortstop, Judd Hammons hit his fourth and fifth doubles of the season, against Hampton, to raise his season batting average to .354.
*Dusty Stout continued his amazing season. The senior, who had not played baseball since his 2009 freshman year, and not had received a lot of repetition since his 2008 eighth grade season, collected three more hits on Thursday. Stout is now hitting .409 on the year. He also stole three bases vs. the Bulldogs.
*Andy Stout, Jacob Henson, and Ryan Smith had a hit apiece for JohnsonCounty, with Henson's being a 2B down the left field line. Smith collected his 3rd RBI of the season.
