The Region 1 Semifinal game between District 1 runner up, JCHS and the District 2 champion, Greeneville Greene Devils was washed out on Monday, May 14th.  We will try again, today, Tuesday, May 15th.  First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 PM.  The winner will travel to Unicoi County on Wednesday, May 16^th to play in the Region 1 Championship.  The winner of that game will host a sectional game on Friday, May 18th to earn an appearance in the “Spring Fling” State Tournament, beginning on Tuesday, May 22^nd.  The loser of the regional championship will travel for a sectional game on Friday.  Other than the regional championship game, all games from here on out are single elimination, meaning if JCHS does not win at Greeneville on Tuesday night, our 2012 season will be over!!  The Region 1 Regional Semifinal will be carried live on 1390 AM WMCT and www.wmctradio.net.
