West Bend Thunder roll to 11-1 win Friday night at home against Elkhorn Extreme

The home town kids were at it again on Friday night and the fans got to see the players at their best!  Elkhorn jumped out to a one to nothing lead to start the game, but it didn't last long.  In the bottom of the first Cooper Schlosser got things going with a single then Mason Kirk drilled a 2-2 fastball deep to right center for his first home run of the season!   Cooper went out and began the shutdown of the Elkhorn bats by the Thunder pitching staff.   Riley McClarran, Mason Kirk, Matt Geldnich and Logan Chesak each pitched great scoreless innings.  The defense was again rock solid only having one bobble for the game.

At the plate the Thunder had nine hits....led by Nick Sterman (2 hits) and Cooper Schlosser (2 hits) including a deep home run to center.  Blake Hall, Mason Kirk, Josh Brockman, TJ Simpson, Riley McClarran each kicked in a hit apiece.   Riley had the game winning double to seal the game!
