Buchanan said his school, winner of four state titles since 1998, and district are very supportive of the football program. The same, he said, cannot be said of Western Hills. "It's not so much money as it is lack of emphasis," he said. "If you're going to have a program, support it."

Now the thing about this is the winning coach took his starters out after only 21 plays of the game so this tells you two things first the coaching itself on the other team may or should be looked upon as suspect for this level of play, two is a question more or less did or does this losing team have any talent on its team.

Every coach will at some point get his rear handed to him in a game and the factors can be attributed to many things , but in this situation their is still something to be learned [ remember in the early 90's a certain organization decided to award every participate a ribbon and they also decided to not keep score during its sports events and suggested we are all winners by simply taking part] mean while in the real world competition in every aspect of daily life was taking place.

Well some of those kids are now todays parents and since competition was seen as an evil they never got involved in it ,sure when a situation is clearly defined as one that can be won I'm sure these people are all in but sports just as in daily life has up's and certainly downs where one has to question themselves as to what will be the outcome.

This is what sports is the outcome is never really certain I once coached a game where we traveled into a community the opposing coach was certain he would teach our team a lesson he was very voiceful before the kickoff, even the ref's attempted to get him to cut it out.

We were winning by 32 points at halftime the opposing teams coach would not allow his team to take the field to finish the game I asked him  not to do that too his players and that we would not pass the ball the remaining time of the game, he headed to the parking lot.

No one wants to be on the end of a game like the one discussed but just as in life one day your turn will come it's what you do after you are on the end of such an event Abraham Lincoln once said (Things may come to those who wait,but only the things left by those who hustle')
