Senior first baseman, Tyler Fenner, has been one of the better defensive first baseman in the conference throughout his career, as he showed in making three great defensive plays at home against the Unicoi County Blue Devils, but this season he is showing some of that offensive potential that I saw when I coached him as a sophomore.  Fenner is second on the team with a .368 batting average, and leads the team with 2 home runs and 10 runs batted in.  Tyler won the game for Johnson County at Happy Valley with a late home run.  He had a huge RBI single late in the games at Sullivan North, although the Horns could not hold on, and he led off the bottom of the 7th with a soaring double to the right-center gap to put himself in scoring position, yesterday against the Elizabethton Cyclones.  He has put the time in working on his swing, and he continues to do so, in hopes of playing at the next level.
