KAMLOOPS, BC:  In their first game of the year, the Cardinals relied on the strong arm of Shawn Lewis and the hot bat of Bryce Libke to lift them to a 7-3 win over a very good Prince George team.  In the second game, Graham Forrester got the win on mound as the Cards handed a 12-3 loss to Kamloops.   Bryce Libke was named player of the game in the first game and Garrett Krawchuk picked up MVP honours against Kamloops.  The Cardinals now face the Okotoks Red's. If the Cardinals can beat the Red's, they are guarenteed to finish first in their pool.
