Hi everyone Coach Ron here. Well done last night. I saw a lot of good things out there and you made it hard for me to pick the player of the game. Like Coach Charles said there are many ways to be player of the game and it isn't always because you made a great play or had a big hit. Last night I heard a lot more cheering from the field and dugout which really adds to the game atmosphere. Everyone's attitude seemed really good last night and Gemma you were outstanding in your approach to last nights game. How about the pitching of Remy and the catching of Brittney, what a great tandem they were. Bailey ran the bases like a pro and was safe at home due to just a great slide. And how about Chloe getting her first big league slide in. Almost brought a tear to Coaches eye, until she told me my music selection still sucked. Bonnie was great in covering throws back to the pitcher and last weeks player of the game Taylor gave another solid effort.  Ashley had a sore shoulder but that didn't stop her from giving everything she had, while Emily looks like she is ready to start hitting the cover off the ball. Katie and Hayleigh also make a great tandem and Hayleigh is becoming a very good catcher. Like I said you all made it very tough for me to pick a player of the game. Last night in cold, windy and very tough conditions the turning point in the game was with the bases loaded in the first and 1 run already in and 2 batters already hit by a pitch , Katie dug deep and struck out the side. Outstanding Katie, so you are player of the game, well done.
