Hi everyone Coach Charles here, great game last night. What a treat to come home to after a long flight from Chicago. Our player of the game is Bailey, for a great hit, excellent base running and a fantastic slide into home plate. Well done Bailey! Among other highlights from last nights game, Katie pitched well, our catchers were sharp and Ashlee and Chloe combined to make a great out at third base. Also, Hayleigh had a great hit which contributed to our run production. Good work team! Important notes for Tuesday May 11th: Note #1: Picture day is this coming Tuesday May 11th at James Hill Elementary. Please be there at 5:00 P.M. Sharp with your picture forms filled out complete with payment. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend as I am out of town, however, Coach Ron and Team Mom Val will be there to coordinate the team. Please bring your smiling faces! Note #2: Bat-a-thon pledge forms must also be handed in on picture day complete with collected pledge funds. I hope you were all successful in your pledge collections, as this is an important fundraiser for the league, this aids in purchasing new equipment for our upcoming brillliant atheletes. Thank you all for your effort and support! Note #3: B.C. Softball Xtreme Flames roster form must be signed by parents and players prior to picture day. Please make sure you see me to sign this form either at tonights practice or Monday's game. As this must be handed in on picture day as well. See you all at tonights batting practice at Noel Booth batting cages from 6-7 P.M. Please bring all of your equipment, including your MOUTHGUARDS. Hopefully we have some parents to help out in the batting cage tonight, as Coach Ron is unable to attend. That's all for now, Coach Charles |
