Thunder Rolls 14-1 in WSYBL opener!

In an exciting first league game, the Thunder boys from West Bend pounded out 12 hits and played error free ball to win 14-1 over Sussex Red on Thursday night.  Juan Gurrola pitched 3 scoreless innings striking out 3 and walking 2.  He also went 2-4 at the plate with a monster 390' homerun over the center field fence and deep into the trees at Village Park.  Cooper Schlosser added 3 hits, Blake Hall / TJ Simpson had 2 hits each, Jonny Baumann, Joey Pettit and Mason Kirk each had base knocks.  Josh Brockman came in and pitched two solid innings to finish off a good start to the season.  Very good team defense impressed coaches and fans!  Way to go boys!  Our next game will be Monday night at the Gtown Jaguars...hope to see you there!
