Monday's Regional Semifinal games saw the Unicoi County Blue Devils travel to South Greene and beat the Rebels by the score of 16-1.  District 1 Tournament champion, Sullivan East, lost to Greenville on their home field, 8-3.  The Unicoi County Blue Devils will host the Greenville Greene Devils on Wednesday in the Regional Final.  The winner of this game will host the Region 2 runner up in a Sectional game on Friday.  Sectional play used to be known as sub-state.  The loser of the Blue Devil/Greene Devil game will travel to play the Region 2 winner in a Sectional game.  The Johnson County Longhorns have not had the postseason success we would like to have in the recent past, so many of you may not be familiar with the other region and districts outside of our conference.  We hope you find the information below helpful.

The Region 2 Semifinal games were postponed on Monday due to rain.  Gibbs will play Alcoa, and Pigeon Forge will play Christian Academy of Knoxville.  We will keep you posted.
