X_Flames Tournament! MAY 28-30 TSAWWASSEN Hi everyone! Coach Ron and I have entered our team in a tournament the weekend of May 28th in beautiful sunny Tsawwassen. The reason for this is that we should once a season play at least one outside our league tournament and it will also give us the experience for our own league playdowns on June 5th & 6th. What we require from our team parents is your commitment to having your player play in this tournament and also your involvement during the weekend or at least a portion of it. We are guaranteed 4 games and one of them may be on the Friday night (May 28) at this point the schedule for the tournament has not yet been created.
The cost for the team to enter the tournament was $250.00, the tourney fees have been prepaid. We require $30 per player and our goal is to provide the sandwiches/fruit/veggies and beverages on the Saturday. We want to keep the players away from the concession so that this will be both a fun and healthy experience for them.
Both Ron and I feel this will be a great memory for our kids and we are looking for an enthusiastic response from all parents.
Please advise if your daughter will play in this tournament and if you will be available to Chaperone and help out with various required tasks. We need your commitment no later than Sunday May 23rd. Please let me know your decision ASAP. Thanks everyone! Coach Charles |
