The Gloves relinquished leads of 6-1 and 9-2 as they went on to lose to the FW Fuel 11-10 in a non-league NEBL game.  The game started out on a high note as Fuel's right-handed pitcher threw 60 first-inning pitches giving up 5 walks and six runs.  The Gloves posted another 3-runs in the top half of the second and appeared to be cruising until Gloves pitchers issued 7 walks and their fielders mishandled three plays to allow the Fuel to take the lead in the bottom of the 5th at 10-9. 

Next up for the gloves are the FW Tigers in a Findlay, OH BPA tournament this weekend.  Should the gloves win their first three tournament games this weekend there may be opportunity to burn the Fuel in the Championship game.
