Posted May 5/11 - Royals Comeback from Bad 2nd Inning and Beat White Rock
The Ridge Meadows Royals showed some character and composure while getting a win against the now (7-3) White Rock Riptide, in South Surrey.  They jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of 2nd only to surrender 4 in the bottom half and fall behind 4-1.  Even though the umpiring was somewhat questionable the Royals kept their focus and continued taking the game one play at a time.  While continuing to chip away the Royals relentless attack brought them back to take a 6-4 lead.  Halstrom pitched well in relief of Pelletier who struggled a bit with his control.  Once the Royals got the lead they handed the ball to Bailey who made short work of the Riptide over the final two innings.  Offensively Stadnik stayed hot and showed all of his five tools with a nice bunt single just one game after hitting a Grand Slam against Cowichan.  Jonsen looked solid at 3rd base, attacking the ground balls across the infield and firing peas to Ross at 1st to record several tough outs.

Still some room for improvement but all facets are being progressively polished after each game.
