Posted Jun 7/11 - Red Sox play heavenly in win over Angels
After trailing 4-2 and 5-4 the Red Sox battled back to defeat the Angels 9-5 Monday night at Wilson Park. Hunter Bolze picked up the win relief after tossing 3 scorless innings. Bolze entered the game in the bottom of the 5th after the Angels reclaimed the lead 5-4. He inherited a bases loaded nobody situation and struck out the side. In the top of the 6th Dakota John's RBI triple against his former team tied the score at 5-5. The Sox plated 4 runs in the top of the 7th including having 2 runs balked in. In all the Red Sox drew an amazing 14 walks but almost squandered thier chance of victory by some careless base running and leaving 11 men on base. The RedSox return to action Wednesday against the Cardinals (3-5)
