The Ridge Meadows Royals moved to 16-4-1 on the season with a powerful 18-0 victory over the visiting Kamloops Riverdogs. The morning was dark, gloomy and wet but considering the amount of travel put by the visiting team ever effort was made to get the game in.
On the hill Ross threw a complete game shutout picking up K's and giving up only 6 hits. Behind the dish Whieldon shut down the Riverdogs running game going three for three in gunning runners down.
Offensively Bailey, McMaster, Germain, Pelletier, Jonsen, and Whiledon all hit for extra bases. The game was capped by a mammoth grand slam hit by Jonsen.
Royals turn their attention to the Okanagan As at the Cloverdale Ballpark tomorrow.
