The Royals were coming off a tough loss to Cloverdale (at home) and were looking to rebound. The loss to Cloverdale was long overdue as the Spurs played very well while knocking Royals pitching all over the park. If the Royals didn't have enough motivation going into the game against White Rock then they certainly had it now as the loss to the Spurs definitely put things into perspective.
Kyle Ross started against the White Rock Riptide on June 24th (pictured above). His pitch count ran a little high as he was forced to come out of the game earlier than he was used to. Evans clutched up late in the game with a base hit off the bench. Stadnik then pinch ran and quickly picked up a huge stolen base before scoring the go-ahead run. Royals won the game 7-5 over White Rock.
