The Ridge Meadows Royals traveled to Richmond on Thursday evening for the rubber match with the Chuckers.  Royals players were very motivated considering the embarassing loss in their last meeting and the presence of injured teammate Liam Godfrey.  Royals pitching came out hot with starter Kyle Ross collecting another win and 9 strikeouts over 4 innings of work.  The rest of the game saw Evans out of the pen for 2 innings and another stellar performance from Benard to close it out.

Offensively, Jonsen hit one out of the park to center and then Pelletier hit one on the road through the trees out of left field at Brighouse.  Evans collected two stolen bases and scored a couple of runs on the way to a 10-1 victory for the Royals.
