The Ridge Meadows Royals added another victory and a season series sweep over the Victoria JR Eagles with a neutral site win in Abbotsford Saturday. The Royals scored throughout the game on route to an 11-1 victory. On the mound, Halstrom had a tough start walking 4 batters over the first two innings but only surrendered the 1 run. Anderson came in to relieve and shut the door, fanning a number of JR Eagle batsmen.
Royals got offensive production throughout the lineup. Stadnik had an extra base hit to the opposite field as well as Jonsen and MacMaster.
Royals will play in North Delta on Tuesday and need a win to keep hopes of a season series win over the Astros alive. |
