The Dodgers played some excellent defense last night, forcing their opponents to really earn their runs. Unfortunately, the bats remained frozen and the Dodgers only managed to cobble together 4 runs in 7 innings, thanks largely to Doogs' 2-run homerun.

Team Notes:

Erin Koga made a token appearance before heading off on another vacation, leaving the team stunned and hurt. Said team spokesperson Cam "The EncarNation" Barth, "I can't describe how brutal this is, it's like they give her this long-term contract and she thinks she's got it made. Totally brutal!" When asked about her behaviour and importance to the team, pitcher Rob "Vajayjay" Timlick was quoted as saying, "I've got more skill and team spirit in my vagina than she does in her entire multi-million dollar contract body. Just ask Bird how much spirit is down there!" 

Although they played some solid D, 3B Mike Johnson and SS Jay Archambau apparently need to practice their celebratory fist bumps. According to Barth it was the "Brutalest fist bump ever! If there was a fist bump cage, those two would need to spend hours practicing just to make contact."
