The Thunder headed to Menomonee Falls on Wednesday looking to give Falls Burgandy their first league loss in two years. For the first three innings things were going good. The game was tied 1-1 heading into the fourth inning and then things began to unravel. A few walks and a couple well placed balls scored 4 runs in the fourth for the Falls as they went on to win 9-1. Both teams played pretty good defense and pitched well. But in the end, the Thunder walked 8 batters and the Falls walked only 1 which turned out to be the difference in the game. Hits were hard to come by as both teams only collected 4 hits apiece. Matt Geldnich had a double while TJ Simpson, Jordan Schommer and Blake Hall each had a single for the Thunder's four hits. The Thunder will look to get back on the winning track on Friday night as they host Waukesha Black at 7:45pm in West Bend. Hope to see you there and Go Thunder...
